SBI PO 2020 Application Form:

To obtain the SBI PO 2020 Application Form a candidate has to visit the official website. There you should move to the career option and then visit the notification tab. Click on the “online apply” button.  An online application form would appear which you have to fill up with all the details in a careful and precise manner. After filling the form submit it. Please ensure that you upload your recent passport size photo and signature before submitting the application form. It is important that the notification number and password be noted somewhere by the candidate for future use. Then you should take the printout of the fee challan and submit the payment as required.

Application fee: The candidates from general category should pay an amount of Rs. 600/-. But the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD are required to pay an amount of Rs. 100/- as application fee.

SBI PO Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Graduates from any discipline from any University/College recognised by the State/Central Government or any such equivalent examination. Additionally the students in the final year/semester can also apply but they have to provide their final passing certificate.

Age: the candidates from the general category between the ages of 21 years to 30 years as on 1st April 2020. As per government rules, there is relaxation in age for candidates belonging to different backgrounds. SC & ST individuals enjoy a relaxation by 5 years, OBC backward category by 3 years, PWD by 10 to 15 years, J&K by 5 years and SSSO/ECO & Ex-Service individuals by 5 years.

SBI PO Syllabus:

There are two papers in the main online examination of State Bank of India Probationary Officer’s Recruitment 2020. These are objective paper and descriptive paper. The candidates should know about the examination pattern and the cut-off marks to clear the mains examination. Accuracy is very important to consider for both the preliminary and mains examination. Importance should be given on 100% correct answers to each question in place of the number of questions to attempt. Objective test carries 200 marks and the descriptive test carries 50 marks. Both the tests are conducted in online mode and the candidates have to answer both the tests online. The descriptive test should be answered by typing on the computer. The duration of the examination is 3.0 hours and total 55 questions have to be answered for 200 marks in English language, Data Analysis and Interpretation, reasoning & computer Aptitude and General/Economy/Banking Awareness. The objective test has separate timing for every section as follows:

Reasoning & Computer Aptitude – 45 questions, 60 marks and 60 minutes. Data Analysis & Interpretation – 35 question, 60 marks and 45 minutes. The candidates should qualify in each section by obtaining cut-off marks, which is decided by the Bank after observing the general performance. All the questions carry negative marks which is equivalent to 1/4th of the marks allotted for the question. If any question is not answered by a candidate, there will be no negative marks for that question. All questions are given both in English and in the Hindi language except in English language paper. Hence, candidates should answer only those questions which they are confident about.

There will be individual and overall cut-off marks for each section, which is decided by SBI which a candidate has to clear to move to the next round. The next round would be interview and group discussion.

Admit Card:

The SBI PO Admit Card 2020  can be downloaded 10 days before the commencement of the examination which shall be available on the official website of SBI. While registering for SBI PO examination you should get your login ID and Password. You should download your Admit Card before each examination as you would not be allowed to enter the Examination Hall.

SBI PO Result 2020:

The candidates who qualify the preliminary examination are called for mains examination. And the candidates who qualify the mains are called for Group Discussion rounds.
